About Me!

Hello! My name is Eric, and I love telling stories. My curiosity and interest in creating art and telling stories with new media started when I discovered that you could hand animate shapes in Microsoft Powerpoint, and I could drag out a path with my mouse and a character I grouped together made of shapes would follow that path. That would be the first motion capture that I’ve ever done.

My time in the Integrated Design and Media program at NYU has allowed me to explore this interest even further: playing around with the Opti-track motion capture systems and even getting a job at NYU to be responsible for calibrating those same systems gave me a ton of experience with motion capture and the pipeline of bringing it into a short film.

Virtual production, game engines, and motion capture are all powerful and growing technologies and mediums and I don't plan to stop there. As time goes on I want to continue to adapt and utilize emerging tech and media to see how I can create art and tell stories by mixing new and traditional processes alike!
